The Kardashians React To Bruce's Interview

by Kadeen Griffiths

On Friday night, the world prepared to watch the Bruce Jenner 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer, a two-hour special that has been billed as a chance for Jenner to open up about important personal issues. Within fifteen minutes of the special, Jenner revealed he identifies as a woman, stating, "Yes, for all intents and purposes I am a woman. People look at me differently. They see me as this macho male. But my heart and my soul and everything that I do in life, it is part of me. That female side is part of me. It is who I am." Up to this point, Kardashian family has been supportive of Jenner, and Kim Kardashian promised that the family would be watching the Diane Sawyer interview right along with us. Even before the interview aired, the Kardashian family supported Jenner leading up to the broadcast with Instagram photos that will warm your heart.

To promote the 20/20 interview, Kylie Jenner posted a throwback photo of Jenner to her Instagram with the caption, "daddy throwback. #Tonight #DianeSawyer #ABC #love." The black and white picture features Jenner in a crop top and shorts, smiling open-mouthed at the camera and reaching out a hand for something off-camera.

But she wasn't the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan to post something. Only an hour prior to the airing of the actual special, Brandon Jenner posted an Instagram photo of himself and Jenner with the caption, "Proud son." This picture was another throwback photo in black and white, showing Brandon when he was a child riding on Jenner's shoulders.

And what did the family have to say during the interview? From Khloe Kardashian praising Jenner as a great athlete to Kylie Jenner retweeted a Lady Gaga message about bravery to Robert Kardashian retweeting an Ellen DeGeneres message about Jenner saving lives, it's clear they continue to stand firmly on Jenner's side. Check out their reactions below.
