Amy Adams & Darren Le Gallo Might Be Getting Married Very Soon, But Don't Expect To Learn Much About The Wedding
It looks like we might have another celebrity wedding on our hands. According to Page Six, Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo are getting married sometime this coming weekend in Los Angeles. Multiple sources have confirmed the news to the publication about the reported nuptials, which are said to be very "hush-hush." Apparently, Adams and Le Gallo are tying the knot in a private location. According to one source, “Amy and Darren are getting married this weekend in Los Angeles in a ceremony that will be intimate and very genuine. The guest list is being kept very small and she has kept the location very much under wraps.”
If true, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Adams and Le Gallo want to keep their wedding a secret. They seem to be private individuals, who also like to keep to their personal lives to themselves, especially when it comes to their five-year-old daughter, Aviana.
Adams and Le Gallo got engaged in 2008 and have been together for a total of 14 years. I bet you didn't know they've been together that long, did you? Me neither. See, that's where privacy comes into play again.
Why have they waited so long to tie the knot? In addition to Adams declaring she wouldn't marry Le Gallo "anytime soon" in 2013, a source told Page Six, "Amy and Darren had always planned on getting married, but her career has been on such an amazing trajectory, it has been hard for her to take the time out. But now she has deliberately taken some time off work to be with her family and finally get married.”
As for the actual ceremony, in 2014, Adams opened up to Vanity Fair and said,
I know he’s completely capable and lovely, and beautiful, and offers something I could never hope to offer just in the nature of his being. We both have a very specific idea that we want to do this [the ceremony] in spring or fall, like in those months, but every time I’m busy working ... I want something very family-oriented and laid-back.
So, if you're hoping to get more details about this alleged wedding, I'd hold your breath, because until Adams or Le Gallo officially make a statement or Adams gets grilled about it in an interview or on the red carpet, I have a feeling we'll be waiting to hear all about their wedding day.
With that said, if they are getting married, let's give them a big congratulations!
