Twitter Is Really Loving This Royal Baby News

by Lia Beck

This is sure going to be a jam-packed weekend if you're a Twitter user. There's the Kentucky Derby, the wonderful spring weather, Cinco De Mayo, and, oh yeah, a little thing called Royal Baby: The Second Coming: This Time It's Spare. If you somehow having heard (LOL), Kate Middleton gave birth to royal baby #2, on Saturday May 2; the name of the little princess hasn't been revealed yet. And let me tell you, Twitter is having a field day.

As we know, Middleton went into labor early Saturday morning, and gave birth in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital at around 8.34 a.m. UK time Saturday. The Kensington Palace Twitter account Tweeted: "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am," adding "The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth" in its official announcement shortly after 11 a.m. UK time Saturday.

Now that Prince George has the Harry to his Prince William, the world is really going wild. Which, really, isn't a surprise seeing as people were freaking out just at the though of Middleton being in labor. Of course, the royal watchers at the Lindo Wing are loving it, but online, people who are oceans away from the royal family are reveling in the news, too. Here are some of the best tweets from royal fans who, I can't emphasize enough, are really, really excited about this:

Just wait until we find out her name...
