Jamie Chung's Summer Beauty Secrets

I feel like every time summer hits, I switch out my dainty spring crossbody for a huge tote or canvas bag because I end up carrying more makeup (to touch up everything that the sun has melted off), more water bottles, and quite frankly, just more of everything. If you’re like me and looking to really minimize the clutter so that you’re not lugging around your life in a bag all summer long, prepare to learn valuable tips from Jamie Chung’s summer beauty essentials. People Magazine interviewed Chung to get all the deets on what her summer must-haves are, and she shared a wide variety of things. One of them was her favorite summer fragrance, Elizabeth and James’ Nirvana White, which will totally fit in your purse. The design of the perfume is super compact and it doubles as a pocket mirror. Score! The scent has notes of peony, muguet, and tender musk, all of which creates a “refreshing” smell, according to Chung.

To further decrease the summer load off your shoulder, Chung suggests keeping your makeup look light, “because you want your natural tan to shine through — and you’re gonna sweat!” True that, sista! The only thing she’ll touch up is her coral Make Up For Ever blush.
