13 Adorable Press On Nail Designs Perfect For Lazy Girls Or Those Whose Nails Simply Refuse To Grow

There has been a real trend for adorable nail art over the last couple of years, and it doesn't appear to be going away any time soon! But not all of us are gifted with a dotting tool and a toothpick, but still want to rock a gorgeous summer manicure that doesn't cost the Earth! Or maybe we have short nails that don't lend themselves so well to the intricate designs in the first place. That's where press-on nails come in.

I am a huge fan of the instant manicure. As much as I love to paint my nails and make my own attempts at nail art, lately all of my nails have broken and, as someone who spends a significant proportion of time typing, they probably won't be growing back promptly. So, I started wearing press on nails instead. There are so many gorgeous designs available at the moment that I am just spoiled for choice. I tend to go for quite loud and quirky sets, as they suit my style and I enjoy them the most, but there are definitely more subtle designs available.

One tip I would give if you are considering wearing press-ons is to buy your own nail glue — don't rely on the one that comes in the pack with the nails. I use a fast-drying one that seems to hold the nails on for much longer than the standard glue provided. My second tip would be to always have a bottle of glue in your purse, just in case of emergencies.

If you are a nail biter or generally keep your nails short, it is worth wearing press on nails that are short at first so that you can get used to them. Either buy shorter sets or if you fall in love with some that are too long for you, you can always file them down yourself.

Whatever you choose, have fun with it!
