What Could This 'Mockingjay- Part 2' Still Mean?
The Girl on Fire has just set our hearts on fire with anticipation. On Wednesday, Jennifer Lawrence posted an exclusive sneak peek photo from the upcoming finale to The Hunger Games series. Though Jennifer Lawrence gifted us with but one single still photograph, as they say, a picture's worth a thoursand words and there's a lot we can glean from this photo. So join me in examining this photo and speculating about what Jennifer Lawrence's sneak peek tells us about Mockingjay- Part 2.
Before we can begin our speculation, though, we must first refresh our memories as to where we left off after the first installment of the two-part Hunger Games finale. [Spoilers] At the conclusion of Mockingjay- Part I, Katniss has fully embraced her role as the Mockingjay and has utilized her position to get Peeta back. Peeta give District 13 a warning that they are about to be attacked by the Capitol, giving the inhabitants of District 13 just enough time to flee to safety.
Peeta is rescued from the Capitol and it is quickly discovered that he has been injected with Tracker Jacker venom and psychologically tortured to the point where he only recognizes Katniss as a foe to be extinguished. The movie concludes with the beginning of Peeta's rehabilitation to recover from his torture as President Coin and District 13 plot their next move against the Capitol.
As we eagerly await Mockingjay- Part 2, which premieres on November 20, 2015, speculation runs rampant as we anticipate what will go down between the Girl on Fire and the evil Capitol. Jennifer Lawrence's sneak peek of the film has only added fuel to the fire (Girl on Fire pun absolutely intended) and given us something to focus on in our fierce speculation.
Katniss Has Accepted Her Mockingjay Status
After much hesitation about being the figurehead of a rebellious movement to overthrow the government in charge, it seems like Katniss has finally accepted her role and is ready to throw down. Just look at that fierce face.

She is calm, collected, and in control. She is out for blood after everything that Snow has done and she is a force to be reckoned with.
Gale Is By Her Side (But Not Peeta)
Clearly Peeta is still trying to recover from what the Capitol has done to him. That means that Gale, not Peeta, is her right hand man. Will sparks be flying?
Who Are the Rebels In the Background?
We already know our main cast of characters that we've grown to know and love over the course of the past three Hunger Games films, but this still depicts some fresh faces in the background. Will there by some integral members of District 13 that we'll get to know in Mockingjay- Part 2? I sure hope so.
Where Is Finnick?
I just need more Finnick. In every scene and photo. More Finnick please.
