Jon & Bran Could Meet Again On 'GoT'

by Rachel Paige

The Stark children are currently scattered all across Westeros on Game of Thrones. Arya's in Braavos, Sansa's at Winterfell, Jon's at The Wall, Rickon is with Osha, and Bran Stark is busy chilling with the Three-Eyed Raven. Everyone else is, well, dead. While Arya and Sansa have come close to crossing paths a few times, what about their brothers? Should we plan for a happy Game of Thrones reunion, where Jon and Bran come together again? As for right now, nope. But, then again, maybe. This is Game of Thrones, after all, and the show does what it wants. First off, you're probably thinking to yourself, "Hey, I haven't seen Bran in a while!" There's a reason for that. Bran is intentionally not in Season 5 of Game of Thrones. His show storyline caught up with his book storyline in Season 4. Rather than create new stories for him, the executive producers decided to completely leave him out for now. It's honestly fine, since there are a hundred other things happening right now, and throwing Bran into the mix might have just been too much to handle. So Bran, enjoy your rest. But, we do hope to see you again soon. When Bran and Rickon originally left Winterfell, they went to seek out Jon at The Wall. A lot happened on the way, and their original mission shifted. But, will the young Stark ever meet back up with his bastard brother?

Game of Thrones has actually already created one reunion for these two. It's a very short reunion, mind you, but it happened while Bran and his traveling buddies were at Crastor's Keep. They were taken prisoner by former Night's Watch member Karl, and almost tortured, but then Jon showed up to save the day. (Although Jon never saw Bran, Bran saw him, but ultimately decided against revealing himself so that he could keep going on his journey to find the Three-Eyed Raven.) That almost-reunion wasn't in the books, so it's possible another non-book reunion could eventually occur.

Plus, you're probably familiar with the fact that George R. R. Martin isn't done writing the books yet. As of right now, there is no real reunion for Jon and Bran. But, it's possible that Martin is planning a big reunion for the end of the series for the remaining Stark children. (And, yes, it just pained me to say "remaining Stark children," like more of them could possibly die.)

If that were to happen, not only would we see Jon and Bran together, but Arya and Sansa, too. It's time for that long awaited reunion, and these kids certainly deserve it after all they've been through. Fingers crossed Season 6 delivers.
