'House Of Cards' Corey Stoll Scoffs At A Homeless Man In Exclusive 'Glass Chin' Clip — VIDEO
We watched him be manipulated and discarded by scheming Frank Underwood in House of Cards , but now, the tables have turned for Corey Stoll. He stars in Glass Chin opposite Billy Crudup, Marin Ireland, Yul Vazquez and Katherine Waterston, and if this exclusive clip is any indication, Stoll's character now holds all the cards. The film centers around a former welterweight champion who has retired from boxing and finds he doesn't enjoy life out of the limelight. He heads to Manhattan to try and reclaim his glory, but all goes awry when he gets involved with a crooked restaurateur and is framed for murder.
The noir crime drama debuted at 2014's Tribeca Film Festival to rave reviews. Indiewire said the film is "one of the strongest films ever to grace the international narrative competition." And Variety said of the picture, "...between his script and Stoll’s performance, “Glass Chin” finds fresh humanity in a seemingly exhausted genre."
In the clip below we see Stoll and his date approached by a homeless man who wants to talk boxing. While Stoll's date is sympathetic to the man, Stoll's character is hostile and agitated. Watch the exclusive clip from Class Chin below. The film hits theaters and VOD Friday, June 26th.
