What The Cast Of 'Orange Is The New Black' Wore To #OrangeCon Before They Announced The Big Surprise
As someone whose been catching up with season 2 for the past few weeks, the news that the third season of Orange Is The New Black has been released early is making me very happy. But so is the OITNB’s cast style at #OrangeCon. It’s so nice to finally see the lovely ladies from the Netflix show in something other than orange. And even though some wore black, it's always fun to see them dress up. Before announcing that Season 3 of the hit show would be streaming on Netflix, tonight, everyone’s favorite inmates got together with their die-hard fans. And we honestly think that their style was as good as the news. Check out some of our favorite looks.
Natasha Lyon
Blue and leather don’t usually got very well together, but this dress really works out. It’s the right color, fit, and shape.
Laverne Cox
Even though I love all parts of this look, I think my favorite piece has to be the gloves. I mean, they’re little leather gloves.
Ruby Rose
If only I could look as cool as Ruby does, while still being professional with two full sleeves. Badass-ness at its best.
Taryn Manning
I feel like I think this dress the most because it’s totally unexpected. It reminds me of a school uniform, gone fashion, and it’s wonder. And also, Taryn’s hair.
Selenis Levya
I can’t get enough of Selenis’ matching jewels. From her necklace, to her earrings, and even the bracelet, the turquoise was the right jewel to wear.
Vicky Jeudy
This white number is doing wonders for Vicky, giving her a elegant shine and glow.
Uzo Aduba
The unveiler, herself, looks like spring dream in her two-toned gown. Both of which are great colors for her.
Laura Prepon
Honestly, this is one of those times when I feel like Alex picked this out for Laura. It’s grungy while still maintaining a niceness.
Danielle Brooks
I absolutely love Danielle’s fuchsia lip. It’s a great way to wear your accessories, without actually wearing any. Plus, you can afford her skirt! It’s the Studio Open Knit Midi from Eloquii.
Jackie Cruz
Who says you can’t dress up a crop top? Not Jackie. This metallic bit looks fabulous with the off-white blazer.
Samira Wiley
This dress has the whole baroque thing going on, but not in the traditional way. And I love that.
Yael Stone
There’s something so vintage-sweet about this dress, that I feel like you could find a look-alike on Etsy.
Lea Delaria
This is a perfect way to dress for the “orange carpet.”
Dascha Polanco
From the retro waves to the shapely white tux, Dascha is looking fierce.
Jessica Pimentel
The combination of the fringe and print, at first, seemed to be a lot. But on second glance, they really go well together.
Kate Milgrew
Red doesn’t look all that red, or all that scary. The pearls are a nice contrast to her on-screen character.
Emma Myles
The texture of the dress suits the textured gold bracelet, so well. This is a great LBD to remember.
Kimono Green
Everything about this outfit screams simply chic. From the lip color, to the hair, to the halter dress.
