Kim Kardashian Is An Outfit Recycler

It has been said that Kim Kardashian basically only wears a handful of outfits — the standard latex dress, the monochromatic, the two-piece body con dress, the draped-over-the-shoulders camel coat paired with a plunging neckline. You get the idea. Yet, this time we caught the fashionista red-handed when Kim Kardashian recycled a silky Lanvin dress and Instagrammed the reused look.

The Kardashian kingpin was at an event for the Armenian Bar Association honoring her late father Robert Kardashian over the weekend. She wore a pale pink Lanvin dress under a similar-hued trench coat and bejeweled, strappy heels. She wore her dark locks down in natural waves and paired it with a natural makeup look that gave us an overall laid back, but luxe feeling.

It was a big change from the last time we saw the dress in October 2014. Kim first wore the dress to a wedding with Kanye West, Kourtney Kardashian, and Scott Disick. Then, she wore the low cut number with dark, nude heels and her signature 'Old Hollywood' glam makeup look: a deep, side swept part, retro red lips and a smoky eye.

Of course, we may attribute her more relaxed look to her second-round pregnancy. When she was pregnant with North West, she tried to maintain high fashion but, at times, failed miserably by irritating already swollen feet. This time around, she's pledged to find a better way, and try to merge fashion and functionality.

“I happen to hate the way I look in flats. It’s really hard for me so I’m already thinking, like, ‘What the f— am I going to do?’ And when I was pregnant, it was the hardest thing,” she told Elle. “But I know it’s better and easier, you know, so it’s a struggle.”

I love the more relaxed looks Kim is putting together so far during this second pregnancy. The effortless look of a flowy dress and trench coat gives a distinct "I-already-know-I'm-hot" vibe, and I just feel more comfortable looking at a comfortable, preggo Kimmy. But should she choose to wear something more high-fashion, Kim says she has no time for haters.
