It's Official: You're Obsessed with 'Under the Dome'

Well, it is a CBS show. Under the Dome — the Stephen King miniseries which premiered Monday on the biggest network on television — scored a huge win in the ratings, attracting a whopping 13.1 million viewers.

That puts the miniseries — about a town that finds itself, yep, under a dome — on par with fellow 2013 success, The Following, which premiered to big numbers in January.

The ratings spell good things for Under the Dome's future — the CBS miniseries, starring Breaking Bad's Dean Norris, could become much less mini. The King adaptation is being set up as a possible ongoing series should interest persist. And it seems, at least, that interest as begun.
