Remember When Kim's BFF Was A Real Housewife?

by Marenah Dobin

Larsa Pippen. You might not be able to immediately match up the name with a face, but you know her — or at least you kind of do. You've definitely heard of her in some capacity. If you're a basketball fan, you might know that she is the wife of legendary player Scottie Pippen. Or maybe you recognize her from her guest appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its various spin-offs. It's also possible that you remember Larsa Pippen from her days on The Real Housewives of Miami. Ah yes, that was her, too.

Her time as a housewife might have been short-lived — she was only on the show for its first season in 2011 — but the 40-year-old still counts as a member of the Bravo family. She may not be on our television screens much these days, but that doesn't mean that the woman isn't busy. No matter how you know her, whether its as an NBA wife, Kim Kardashian's best friend, or a former Real Housewife, you might be curious about what she's been up to these days.

Well, for starters, she's a very active with her kids, her husband, various charities, and her work. Let's take a look at the life of Larsa Pippen and see how she's doing post-Real Housewives.

She's A Chicago Resident

It's not super shocking that we don't see Larsa on Real Housewives of Miami anymore given that she and her family moved back to Chicago in 2012 where her husband Scottie used to play. The former housewife explained her family's move to the Chicago Sun-Times , saying, “I feel like the people in Chicago are really grounded. It’s better for our family.”

She's Kim K's Best Friend

Larsa has appeared on Kardashian reality shows and also in Kim Kardashian's selfies. Need further proof they're buddies? She posted a super cute video of Kim's daughter, North West, getting her dance on.

She's A Lifestyle Blogger

If you want to know more about Larsa or how to live a fabulous life yourself, visit her personal website to see her tips for cooking, decorating, beauty, fashion, and parenting. She also writes for Haute Living and has a column called "Life with Larsa" on Splash, the "style, society, and celebrity" filled section of the Chicago Sun-Times.

She's A Red Carpet Correspondent

Larsa has worked for Extra as a correspondent for red carpet events. This makes total sense to me since she is clearly beautiful, stylish, and sociable enough to build up a rapport with celebrities.

She's A Fitness Enthusiast

The former reality star shares her fitness tips with the world and is definitely in great shape. Her posts include tips about working out, stretching, and more.

She's A Philanthropist

Larsa is very involved with the Pippen Foundation, which raises funds for different children's charities. She is also on the committee for "An Evening with the Chicago Bulls," an annual charity gala.

She's a Mother Of Four

Aside from everything else she does, Larsa is the mother to four kids: Scotty, Justin, Preston, and Sophia. And that alone has got to keep her pretty busy!

Larsa makes it clear that life after Real Housewives is far from a post-apocalyptic world. She is very busy and seems to be very happy without the cameras documenting her life.
