Melissa Rivers Will Be ‘Fashion Police's’ New Co-Host, Plus 7 Times She Was The Most Fashionable

Although Fashion Police will never be the same, there is one person who I think will be a perfect fit to fill in the big shoes of powerhouse Joan Rivers. Her daughter, Melissa Rivers has just been announced as Fashion Police's new co-host, and I am literally so happy about it. From her charisma, charm, and of course fashion sense, Melissa will truly give Fashion Police just the spark they need.

Fashion Police will be back on August 31 and according to Variety, Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski will also join Melissa for this season. The new episodes will kick off after the MTV Video Music Awards.

E!'s Executive VP of Programming and Development Jeff Olde explained, "As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape Fashion Police into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy. We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the ‘Fashion Police’ cameras, as she joins returning panelists Giuliana and Brad."

Melissa also stated, "I’m very excited to be given the opportunity to continue to work with my E! and Fashion Police family."

Well, I'm super stoked that Melissa will be part of the show. On top of her bubbly personality, she just has an amazing taste in style and fashion. To prove how perfect she is for the show, here are the 7 times she was clearly the most fashionable:

1. Her arrival at the 42nd Emmys:

That dress? Absolutely gorgeous.

2. When she went in all white at the 57th Pre-Grammy Gala:

So simple yet so striking.

3. When she won a Grammy for the Best Spoken Word Album for "Diary Of A Mad Diva" in this all black ensemble:

Chic, classy, and minimalistic. Perfection.

4. At the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment Upfronts:

Clearly she learned a thing or two from Mama Joan.

5. When she went to the 56th Grammys with Joan:

See what I mean? Same great fashion sense.

6. At the 2014 Matrix Awards:

Gotta have that leather jacket.
