On July 1, Terminator fans will get a chance to relive the magic all over again when Terminator Genisys hits theaters. In the latest addition to the Terminator franchise, actor Jai Courtney takes on the role of John Connor's father, Kyle Reese. The Australian-born actor isn't just easy on the eyes, he's a super talented and all around awesome guy. Chances are you have seen him before if you happen to love action shows and movies. Courtney appeared in Spartacus: Blood and Sand on the small screen before taking on the role of Bruce Willis' son in A Good Day to Die Hard. He also starred as Eric in Divergent (a role he will reprise in Insurgent), and he also has a role in the highly anticipated Suicide Squad as Captain Boomerang. Courtney is busy sailing past "that guy" status into star territory, so you should get to know him now before he becomes Hollywood's next obsession.
As you can tell from his previous credits, the actor has been working steadily in blockbuster roles for the past few years. While playing Kyle in Terminator Genisys is his most high profile role, Courtney did go artsy in his early career when he starred in the controversial 2005 short film about bullying and assault, Boys Grammar . From there, Courtney began working steadily on Australian TV before transitioning to blockbusters. But what does he get up to when he's not fighting Terminators?

He Can Be A Total Goofball
Always a plus! Who doesn't love a guy with a sense of humor?

He Loves His Family & His Homeland
