Mario Testino Is Photographing Princess Charlotte's Baptism, So You Know The Pictures Will Be Amazing

She's not even two months old yet, but she's already working with one of the most famous fashion photographers in the business. Mario Testino is photographing Princess Charlotte's baptism, so the royal christening is getting some major high fashion star power.

The famed fashion photographer wasn't chosen because of his supermodel roster or number of Vogue covers; he was actually Princess Diana's favorite photographer, so it's sentimentally appropriate that he was chosen to photograph the late Princess' granddaughter. Not to mention he also photographed Will and Kate for their engagement photos in 2011 — so he's got some pretty serious royal history. The christening will be held on Sunday, July 5 at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandrigham, and Testino will be photographing the members of the Royal family, as well as other members of the christening party.

But even though the Peruvian photographer has a history with the family, he still feels incredibly humbled. "I am overwhelmed and honored to be chosen to document this occasion and to carry on the documentation of the family that is the soul of this country, a country that has given me so much," Testino said.

One thing is for sure — these are going to be some pretty incredible pictures.
