Well, based on several reports released over the Fourth of July weekend, this was seemingly bound to happen. According to TMZ, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have split after nine years together. "Solid" sources revealed to the media outlet that Kardashian is fed up with Disick's out of control partying habits and has finally "kicked her baby daddy to the curb." Bustle reached out to E! for comment, but has yet to receive a response.
TMZ also reports that Disick hasn't even been home to their house in Calabasas "in over a month." Now, Kardashian is seemingly over being patient and is finished putting up with Lord Disick's drinking and partying. One source said, "His partying lately has made her make this tough decision." It also seems Disick's friends played a major part in their split, who Kardashian seemingly feels is influencing his substance abuse.
Over the Independence Day weekend, photos surfaced of Disick and Chloe Bartoli, the 32-year-old's ex-girlfriend, getting cozy in Monte Carlo. As TMZ reports, Disick was telling everyone he was "newly single." It didn't seem to get Kardashian down, as the 36-year-old reality starlet was busy having fun with her children, specifically her middle daughter with Disick, Penelope. As sad as this news is, at least for Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans, Kardashian and Disick's breakup shouldn't come as a major surprise.
For years, Disick has struggled with drinking and partying way beyond his means, which has affected his relationship with Kardashian. In March 2015, Disick entered rehab to receive treatment for substance abuse. Despite Kardashian and Disick's back and forth relationship, it seems this time their breakup is going to stick. A source told E! News, "Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old. Kourtney has to do what's best for the kids." The same sourced added, "Scott has been running around saying he's single. Kourtney dumped him after she saw the pics [in Monte Carlo] and he hasn't been home after a month-long party binge."
As of yet, there has been no official confirmation from Kardashian or Disick about their reported split, but until then, let's wish them the best, especially when it comes to their adorable three kiddos, Mason, Penelope, and Reign.
