Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Rocks Cut-Out Versace
For all the fashion week followers out there, Sunday marked the start of Paris Couture Week, which always features some of the most jaw-dropping looks from both the models on the runways and the celebs on the red carpet. Model/actress/overall style icon Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocked Versace's latest couture basically everywhere, from front row at their haute couture presentation to the red carpet at an amfAR event. In other words, Huntington-Whiteley looked flawless as usual
The star of Mad Max: Fury Road is known for wearing risqué looks, whether it's on the cover of Lui magazine in a see-through trench, or rocking Victoria's Secret lingerie on the catwalk, and her Parisian fashion choices were no different.
Taking the concept of sheer to almost Lui magazine level, Huntington-Whitely showed off a totally different way of rocking the see-through summer trend. You probably won't be trying this at home, but it's couture, so what did you expect? Naturally, the statuesque blonde looked incredible in both the gowns she sported to Paris Couture Week, which featured almost identical cuts in different fabrics.
Showing loyalty to the always-fabulous Versace, Huntington-Whiteley was seen sporting the brand's latest, fresh-off-the-runway dresses at both the amFAR gala and the Versace show itself.
She rocked her beachy lob with a mixed-print floral gown, which I think can best be described as lingerie-esque, with major cut-outs and dreamy draped skirt. This silhouette is definitely unique, and probably something you won't see in stores, but also absolutely stunning.
Huntington-Whiteley sported a different version of the dress at the Versace show, this time in a sheer black fabric with black flower detailing that basically screamed "nightgown" in the best way possible.
And if you haven't checked out Versace's Fall 2015 Haute Couture show yet, here's your chance! It will make all of your flower-child, fairy/hippie dreams come true. Here are some of the best looks. My favorite part? The flower crowns. Let's just make them a wardrobe staple already.
1. Belle-Inspired Yellow
This dress totally gives off Disney princess vibes, and the flower-petal detailing is absolute perfection.
2. Princess Chic
One of the more-wearable looks from the couture collection, this dress uses a unique, weaved pattern that would be incredible on almost anyone. Also, that's a killer train.
3. Lots Of Layers
This may remind some people of a not-so-fab prom dress choice, but you have to admit the major volume on this gown is pretty breathtaking.
4. Embellished Sheer Mini
Sheer, short, with lots of floral? Sounds like my summer wardrobe! This Versace dress has loads of '60s inspiration, especially with those baby blue platform boots. Yes, please.
5. High-Fashion Fairy Costume
No seriously — doesn't the model look straight out of a fantasy novel? The flower detailing on her arm (with a matching bright orange flower crown) is simply stunning.
