Margot Robbie Covers 'Elle'

by Marc Cuenco

Channeling a glamorous Hollywood bombshell on the cover of its August issue, Margot Robbie opened up to Elle magazine about how people often mistake her age, her ability to rap Lil Wayne lyrics like a boss, and her pet rat given to her by Jared Leto. The cover was revealed just two days after Robbie and her A-list co-stars, including Viola Davis, Cara Delevigne, and Will Smith, basically owned Comic Con this past weekend with the premiere of the Suicide Squad trailer.

"People seem outraged that I'm 24," Robbie said. "People think I'm a decade older." The 24-year-old actress is referring to online comments about her age, perhaps after seeing her convincing performance, playing Leonardo DiCaprio's wife in the Oscar nominated film The Wolf of Wall Street.

Confusion about her age aside, Robbie is revving up her career with a high-profile role as the DC supervillain Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. The ensemble film follows a team of comic book bad guys as they band together to take on a secret government mission. Robbie bonded with Oscar winner Leto (who plays Harley Quinn's bae The Joker) during filming that she even kept a souvenir pet that his character gives to her as a gift — a rat.

"If Harley got something from Joker, she'd probably cherish it," Robbie said. According to , the actress even feeds her new pet organic berries from Whole Foods. The August issue of Elle featuring Margot Robbie on the cover hits newsstands July 21.
