Singer Whose Sanitary Pad Fell Out During A Performance Is A Champion And We All Need To Get On Her Level

It took me 24 years to figure out who I want to be when I grow up, but thanks to Patricia Navidad, I've finally figured it out. The Mexican singer's sanitary napkin fell out on stage during a performance, which is basically the stuff of nightmares. But she kept moving and grooving as if nothing had happened, cuz ain't nobody got time for that. She danced over that sanitary napkin like the boss lady she is. And if you come at her for it, she'll dance the same way right over your grave.

I'm not going to lie — I already know I would have lost it in her place. I once had a strapless bra fall down on me mid-performance, and I froze as if someone in the audience had cocked a gun. It's been years, and I'm still scarred for life. I wish I'd taken a page out of Navidad's book, because she not only took the mishap like a total champion, but went so far as to call out all of the gross, shame-y comments she got after the video went viral. Seriously, this woman is some next-level fierce, and I'm this close to naming my firstborn after her.

Here is your Internet hero. She could even teach Taylor Swift a thing or two about how to "Shake it Off":

Human perfection. We all know this will happen to all sanitary napkin wearers eventually, and may we all be #blessed with that kind of fortitude when Judgment Day finally comes.

As for the trolls who tried to shame her on the internet, Navidad had more than a few choice words for them.

In the tweets, the singer says that she has nothing to be ashamed of, but the people who have been trolling her on the Internet sure do. She adds that if any of the men making fun of her were in the audience that day, she would have loved to smear the pad in their faces. (Like I said: NEXT. LEVEL. FIERCE.) She goes on to say, "I'm not a boxer, I'm a warrior, and I never throw in the towel, unless I don't need it anymore."

In summation: #Bye, haters.
