How Caitlyn Really Felt About Her ESPYs Dress

by Sienna Fantozzi

Continuing to endear herself with her candid honesty and relatability, Caitlyn Jenner talked about her Versace ESPYs gown on her blog, and admitted that not only did she stress out over what to wear, but also that her choice wasn't necessarily the most comfortable. And all of us girls have been down that road a time or two. The struggle is real.

Jenner channeled old Hollywood glam in her white Versace gown at the 2015 ESPY Awards, but the lead-up to her stunning first red carpet was more anxiety-provoking than anything. The I Am Cait star revealed on her blog that she spent a month worrying about what to wear (a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear is like, the bane of my existence), so when Donatella reached out to her to make the dress, she was more than happy to accept the offer.

The fairy tale continued through the design process, the fittings, and the final reveal of the white wrap dress, but that might be where it ended. Caitlyn admitted, "Getting glamorous for the ESPYs was a big process to go through, but it was amazing and so much fun. I really wanted to feel real comfortable up there (although there was a corset under that dress, so I don't know how comfortable I was!)."

She may not have been physically comfortable (a corset does not sound fun), but Caitlyn was definitely comfortable in her own skin for the first time in a while, which made her look all the more stunning. The exquisite Versace gown was just an added bonus.
