Poppy Delevingne Wore A Crown To Cara's Premiere

by Melanie Richtman

It takes a lot of confidence to wear a royal headpiece (i.e., crown) to a movie premiere - or just out in public in general - without feeling like a poser or one of those delusional rich kids from one of those ridiculous Instagram accounts. Rant aside, Poppy Delevingne wore a crown made by Dolce and Gabbana on the red carpet for the premiere of Paper Towns, and totally killed it.

Delevingne made an appearance at the Paper Towns premiere in New York to support her equally as fashionable sister. Aside from the very glamorous, bejeweled Dolce and Gabbana crown straight from the runway, Delevingne also rocked a pocketed Dolce and Gabbana floral frock paired with an enviable set of red, pointy-toed heels with a criss-cross ankle strap.

Cara gave her sister Poppy a run for her money in a silver beaded dress, a red lip and slightly darker "bronde" locks, but Poppy still takes the cake for wearing a D&G crown out in public that until recently was probably only worn by the likes of Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid on the runway. If you want to copy Delevingne's regal confidence, you can buy your own at a slightly more affordable price. I'm partial to this headband from Forever 21 because it's still glam, but probably a little more wearable than one as large as Delevigne's.

If you're not really a crown person, I highly recommend taking some fashion inspiration from Poppy's younger sis aka supermodel/actress extraordinaire Cara Delevingne. She literally glowed on the red carpet, which I'm attributing to her sparkly dress and excellent lip color choice, but it might just be genetic. She even wore comfy looking shoes, and by "comfy looking" I mean they weren't 5 inch heels. The Delevingne sisters are definitely my new fashion icons.
