Hailee Steinfeld Is Now A Mother — Literally

Hailee Steinfeld isn’t just a WAG — she’s now a football mom. On April 2, the actor announced that she gave birth to her first child with her NFL player husband, Josh Allen, taking to her Substack newsletter, Beau Society, to reveal that they welcomed a daughter.

“Our baby girl has arrived!!” the couple wrote in a joint message. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.” They signed off with “Love, Hailee and Josh,” choosing not to share their baby's name at this time.

While the couple didn’t provide specific details, some fans speculate they planned to name their first child Beau. In January, Steinfeld shared a photo of a onesie embroidered with “Baby Beau” in her newsletter. However, it could also simply be a nod to Steinfield, who explained in her Substack bio page that Beau was her childhood nickname.

“I started this little weekly newsletter from my kitchen table,” she wrote. “I named it ‘Beau Society’ because my nickname is Beau; it’s what everyone in my family calls me. In many ways, it reflects the most personal side of me.”

Steinfeld announced her pregnancy in her newsletter in December, reflecting on the past year on her 29th birthday. At the end of her post, she shared a video of Allen sweetly kissing her baby bump and frolicking in the snow with her, wearing a hoodie that read “mother.”

Their baby’s arrival comes nearly a year after Steinfeld and Allen got married. The two tied the knot in an intimate California ceremony on May 31 after two years of dating, with People publishing photos of her walking down the aisle.

Allen popped the question in November 2024, and soon after, Steinfeld officially introduced him to fans on her newsletter and had him answer some questions. “It feels unbelievable to be engaged to someone who is so special and loving and caring and gorgeous and fun and happy,” he said at the time. “I can keep going if you want me to keep going.”
