Kanye West's Met Gala Look Is Super Wearable

There’s only one person who could show up to the Met Gala wearing all denim and still absolutely kill it, and that’s exactly what he did at last night’s fashion-meets-technology-themed event. You’re going to die when you find out how much Kanye West’s distressed jeans cost, too. Because while he may be wearing jeans on the red carpet, they’re not just any old pair of jeans. Of course not.

According to Elle, West’s Fear of God pants retail at $895. Pair that with his custom Balmain jacket, and well, you’ve got one pricey Met Gala ensemble. But, I’d expect no different from Mr. West. I must admit that despite how dressed-down this look was, he still looked incredible, and it’s nice to know that his style doesn’t change — no matter the occasion. He’d dress the same for a red carpet affair as he would running from the paparazzi, and you’ve got to love that about him. No missing the old Kanye, here. I’m all about this laid-back Yeezy feeling.

While you may not be able to do it on a West-sized budget, you can definitely recreated his baby blue feels (right down to the contacts, if you really want to) by shopping similar distressed jeans and pairing them with that trusty denim jacket of yours.
