18 Tweets That Nailed Monday's 'Bachelor' Episode

by Marenah Dobin

Watching The Bachelor is a more involved experience than ever. Even if you aren't at a viewing party with friends, you can feel like you're watching with a bunch of fans thanks to all of the people who post live reactions to the show on Twitter. From fellow fans to the show's alums, there are a lot of tweets that got Monday night's Bachelor episode so right. You know what I mean, those sentiments that took the words right out of your mouth, those hilarious takes that never crossed your mind, and those tweets that you would never actually write yourself, but you know that they're so on point.

Scrolling through Twitter for #TheBachelor or even just typing in the names of the stand-out contestants is arguably as entertaining as watching the show itself. Plus, it's nice to know that you're not the only one who is super invested in Nick Viall's romantic interactions as if they were your own. You are not alone when it comes to your Bachelor obsession and there are probably a lot of people who share the same opinions that you do.

These are some of the tweets with the best reactions to the latest Bachelor episode.

1. When Liz Had Her Fake Breakup With Nick

I felt so vicariously awkward watching Liz talk about meeting Nick in a hotel lobby. No one felt comfortable watching it, yet none of us could look away.

2. When No One Ate The Sushi On The Group Date

Thank god I was not the only one bothered by this. I cannot believe those women just left that sushi sitting out on the table. SMH.

3. When Corinne Was Offended By An Interruption

I don't blame Corinne for being annoyed when Taylor interrupted her one-on-one time with Nick... but I had no sympathy for her considering she had just interrupted Taylor and she also interrupted Alexis. Pot, meet kettle.

4. When Liz Opened Up About The Night She Met Nick

Yes, it felt beyond awkward when Liz continued to recap her rendezvous with Nick at Jade and Tanner's wedding, but I think we all have to give her props for sharing her raw emotions with Nick, in front of the cameras, and on a group date.

5. When Jade & Tanner's Wedding Was Mentioned For The 93838338th Time

As intriguing as Liz's appearance was, I just got so tired of her reminding us about the Janner wedding. It was in no way possible to forget when Liz and Nick met.

6. When No One Objected To Being Interrupted

I get trying to be polite for Nick/the viewers, but if you really wanted to date Nick, then why would you give up a conversation with him so easily? It makes no sense to me.

7. When Hailey Criticized Corinne For Leading With Her Sexuality

Once again, I can't help thinking, "Pot, meet kettle."

8. When Jade & Tanner Got More Mentions Than Nick

Seriously though. I feel like Tanner is a cast member this season.

9. When Alexis Celebrated Her Boob Birthday

Alexis is a gem! I'm so happy that Nick kept her around. She is the comedic relief that we need to get through this show.

10. When Corinne Kept Doing The Most

From the first episode, I couldn't help thinking that Corinne will be perfect on Bachelor in Paradise, and clearly I'm not the only one who though so.

11. When Corinne Took Her Top Off

Catherine Giudici nailed this one. Corinne can make her own decisions, but she's definitely made herself a villain in the other contestants' eyes.

12. When You Realized Alexis Makes This Show Worth Watching

Who would have thought that the girl in a costume would be the one we would all enjoy watching on The Bachelor? Well, I mean JoJo Fletcher did dress up as a unicorn and became the Bachelorette. Soooo... Alexis for Bachelorette!? I can't wait to see what she does next. She is seriously adorable.

13. When Corinne Got The Group Date Rose

I do have to say that Nick and Corinne did seem to have a connection — but she was basically the only one who got time with him.

14. When Liz Opened Up To Christen

I know that a lot of the women on The Bachelor end up becoming friends even though they're dating the same guy, but I still cannot believe Liz went to Christen to talk about her night with Nick. We all knew it was going to eventually come out that Christen knew. Poor Liz. Poor Nick. Poor Christen. It was a lose-lose-lose situation for all three of them.

15. When Nick & Danielle Had Their One-On-Date

I love Danielle, but apparently I wasn't the only one who didn't see a spark between her and Nick. I feel like he wanted to be into her, but he just wasn't there at this point. Still, it was the first one-on-one of the season, so maybe their connection will build with time.

16. When Danielle Shared Her Life Story

Wow. Danielle has really been through a lot. It was very brave of her to share so much of herself with Nick and the viewers so soon. I think we all wanted to give her a hug when she opened up to Nick about her fiancé's overdose.

17. When Josephine Slapped Nick

One snippet that stood out to me in all of the season previews was Josephine slapping Nick in the face. I was so pumped to see what got her so riled up. It turned out to be a fake breakup. It was super anticlimactic.

18. When Corinne Referred To Herself In The Third Person

This seems to be way too common for reality TV stars (especially the villains), but it just makes the viewers uncomfortable. What is the point of this? It's not a very likable trait. Sorry, Corinne.

You may think that you are way too into The Bachelor and that you think a little too much about what the cast members say and do, but rest assured you are not alone. There are plenty of other fans thinking (and tweeting) exactly what's on your mind when every episode airs.
