In 2017, after Donald Trump was voted into office as President of the United States, most of us felt some combination of the following emotions: anger, anxiety, depression, and fear. Much of these feelings were channeled into protesting, and out of that, the Women's March was born. On Jan. 21, 2017, the day after Trump was sworn into office, more than two million people across the world (on every continent!) marched to protest Trump's first day in office. The first Women's March crushed expectations, lifted hopes, and made many people — of all gender identities — remember their power. Now, on Jan. 20, 2018, the Women's March will happen for a second time. So, if you're planning on marching, you're probably already thinking up some genius sign ideas for the 2018 Women's March to carry around during the protest.

Finding a quote or saying for a Women's March sign isn't exactly hard — there are thousands of amazing quotes about feminism and women's rights out there to choose from. It's picking the perfect one that can be tough. Of course, a sign at the march isn't a competition — you just want to have one that inspires, makes someone feel empowered, and gets your message out there. You want to pick something that means something personal to you so that your protest feels extra meaningful.

The below sign ideas for the march are so good that you're going to have a lot of trouble picking just one of them. But hey, who said you can't have a double-sided sign? Or two signs? And if you really can't fit them all, share these with your friends who will be protesting with you.
