6 Kylighter Alternatives If You Just Can't Wait

by Shea Simmons

It's official. Kylie Jenner is expanding Kylie Cosmetics even more. Now, the newest addition to the family is the Kylighter Highlighter. The six powder highlighters made their debut less than a week ago on Jenner's Snapchat, and they've had the internet on fire ever since. Previously, Jenner had only released one other face product — blushes in the Valentine's Day Collection Kylie's Diary palette. Now, she's expanding to highlighters, and it's got me wondering what's next.

While I ponder the future of Kylie Cosmetics, I think it's safe to say that the six new highlighting shades from the youngest Kardashian-Jenner will probably sell out nearly instantly just like the rest of her products. Since Jenner clearly won't announce a restock until the products are gone, fans who aren't lucky enough to snag the Kylighters may be wondering what to buy instead.

Highlighting was easily one of the biggest trends of 2016, and the popularity of it doesn't seem to be diminishing in 2017. Fortunately for fans of the (probably soon to be sold out) Kylighters, that means that there are tons of great options for a beautiful highlighter if you can't purchase Jenners' latest creations. While these alternatives may not be exact duplicates for Jenner's shades, they all feature incredible formulas that will totally give you a stunning glow.

1. ColourPop

ColourPop Pearlized Highlighter in Monster, $8, ColourPop

If you're looking for a shade similar to French Vanilla but for a great price, Monster may just be it.

2. BECCA

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Prismatic Amethyst, $53, Amazon

While not an exact match for Jenner's Cotton Candy Cream highlighter, this prismatic highlight is a gorgeous lavendar pink similar to the hues running through out the new Kylighter collection.

3. Jeffree Star Cosmetics

Skin Frost in So Fucking Gold, $29, Jeffree Star Cosmetics

Jeffree Star's Skin Frosts are iconic. Their glow is seriously next level, and if you're looking for a true gold like Jenner's Banana Split, this could be it.

4. Anastasia Beverly Hills

Anastasia Beverly Hills That Glow Glow Kit, $40, Amazon

Sunburst in the That Glow Glow Kit is a great option if you're seeking a hue similar to Salted Caramel. While it may seem odd to suggest a kit for a single highlighter, the glow kit retails for $40 while the single pan of Kylighter is set to retails for $22. The Glow Kit is practically a steal when you compare them.

5. BECCA

Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pressed Highlighter in Rose Gold, $35, Amazon

Want the pink tone of Strawberry Shortcake? This will get you pretty close.

6. Artist Couture

Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Rosé, $27, Artist Couture

Want to blind people with your Chocolate Cherry-esque glow? The Artist Couture Diamond Glow is next level and so stunning.

If you just can't wait for Kylie Cosmetics Kylighters to drop or if you don't get your hands on them when they release on Feb. 28, don't worry. These brands have you covered — in glow.
