The 2007 Stress & Anxiety Disorders Survey conducted by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) revealed that seven out of 10 adults in the United States routinely have trouble sleeping — with a majority citing stress and anxiety as the cause of their sleep issues.
