AMC's Fear Fest Marathon Will Send Shivers Down Your Spine Just In Time For Halloween

Ever wondered if there was a way for you to celebrate Halloween with all of the good stuff and none of the bad stuff? Well, here's AMC's Fear Fest line-up, which is a scary movie marathon that's coming to a television near you. For the nine days leading up to the spookiest night of the year, the network will air their creepiest fare pretty much nonstop, day and night. They will give you some time off, luckily, during the wee hours of every morning so you can doze off without fear of missing any of your favorite flicks. But with all the terrifying horror movies in this schedule, good luck getting any sleep without every light in your house turned on.

The marathon begins on Oct. 23, at the bright and early hour of 9:00 a.m. That's when the very fitting classic Halloween will air, followed by the rest of the films in that series, in a segment that ends early the next morning. All you have to do is tune in for that, and suddenly you have what could reasonably be considered solid Halloween plans, with all the stuff you love and none of the stuff you hate.

You get to be cozy on your couch or in your bed or in that seemingly-abandoned cemetery or wherever it is millennials watch TV now — and isn't that everyone's dream for a fall day? But what you don't have to do is be on your feet at a party where you don't know enough people and everyone's intimidating. Instead, you're snuggled in your jammies and surrounded by your best friends: fictionalized serial killers from your childhood. Way less terrifying than an evening of social anxiety.

And that's just the first day, so you can balance your Halloween social calendar between extroverted evenings out and introverted evenings in. No matter what time you come home from that costume party where no one knew what you were and kept asking, your friends Jason, Carrie, and Predator will be waiting for you. (And they'll think that your Terrace House panelist costume is genius, by the way.)

So here's the complete schedule, for all your Halloween needs. And it repeats, so even if you have to miss your fave on the first go around, it's not out of your grasp forever.
