Benefit Wants You To Wax Your Brows For Charity

by Kali Borovic

What's better than getting amazing looking brows? Giving back at the same time. As if you needed another reason to get pampered, Benefit Cosmetics is donating proceeds from every eyebrow wax in May. The perk is a part of their Bold Is Beautiful Program, and money goes to one of six charities that empower girls and women all across the globe. Here's everything you need to know, so you can look and feel great this month.

Normally, the typical brow wax leaves you with a little sting, red mark, and a less bushy look. But, thanks to Benefit, it's about to mean a whole lot more. The beauty brand is teaming up with six charities — Girls Inc., Dress for Success, Girl Develop It, Step Up, The Princess Project, and Look Good Feel Better — to empower girls and women all across the world. And all you have to help is go get your brows waxed.

According to the website, all you have to do is visit a US Benefit Boutiques or Benefit BrowBars in Macy’s, Belk, Sephora inside JCPenney, and Ulta. You'll get your brows waxed for the same price, but all the money goes towards the good cause. Of course, like I said before, this deal will only be around for the month of May.

According to their Instagram, Benefit Cosmetics is also giving away a year's supply of brow products in honor of the Bold Is Beautiful Program. Entering is a lot less painful than a brow wax. All you have to do is follow the brand on Instagram, like their photo, and tag three people in the comments. You have until May 14 at 2:59 p.m. ET to enter.

This isn't the first time that Benefit has done some charity work, either. According to the brand, the yearly program has allowed them to raise and donate over $6.3M dollars and waxed over 379,000 brows since 2015. This year they have a goal to reach $6.8M dollars globally. The least you could do to help is get your brows waxed.

So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this and go get your brows waxed as soon as possible. Because there's never been a better time to primp.
