The Rainbow Highlighter Is Getting A Makeover

Remember the multi-colored highlighter that started it all? Well, it's coming back in a major way. Bitter Lace Beauty is having a major restock on every single one of their cheek shines, and Prism is one of them. But even if you already have the highlighter in your makeup bag, you'll want to shop the restock. Prism is getting a makeover and you're definitely going to want to stock up.

There are tons of different rainbow highlighters on the market. Everyone from Wet N Wild to Forever 21 has tried their hand at the multi-colored highlight trend, but Bitter Lace Beauty is where it all began. As soon as this little pan goes on sale, it flies off the virtual shelves, so the restock is a big deal. Prism isn't just coming back into stock though. It's getting a whole new look.

While the highlighter will still have a stripe effect and contain six different colors, the print across the top of the powder is changing. Instead of having a lace overlay in the powder, it will now have a rose on it, Oh, and it will smell completely different. According to Bitter Lace Beauty's Instagram, the highlighters will now smell like cake batter. These might be subtle changes, but they're definitely worth noticing.

If you're as excited as I am, you'll be happy to know that you don't have much longer to wait. All 22 of Bitter Lace Beauty's Highlighters will be back in stock on March 8 at 3 p.m. ET. You'll be able to purchase as many as you'd like from their Etsy shop. I'd shop fast though, because these gorgeous products are constantly selling out.

There is one other small change that will effect the entire line. According to their Instagram post, all the pans will have new packaging. The brand created a brand new sleeve to be sold in. They also created pink and white magnetic compacts that you can buy as well.
