'Kimmy Schmidt's Ode To Beyonce Could Be On Your Playlist Soon

From the very beginning, the music on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has been a highlight of the Netflix comedy. Season 3 is now here with some powerful new tunes. Can you listen to the Kimmy Schmidt Lemonade parody? It's not on iTunes, Spotify, or Amazon yet, and could prove difficult to track down.

It's not surprising that these songs are in demand. Tina Fey's husband Jeff Richmond, an Emmy-winning composer for 30 Rock, has teamed up with her again for this new season. (He's also writing the music for the Mean Girls musical, according to Vulture.) Kimmy Schmidt's first big hit, "Pinot Noir" — or more accurately "Peeno Noir" — was never released on iTunes. You can watch the music video on Youtube and you can just listen to the track on Spotify, but it's not available as a ringtone or anything. So I'm not super sure that this "Lemonade"-ing will be downloadable either.

This isn't the first show to pay homage to Queen Bey's epic video album. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend had "Love Kernels" last year. But only Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt can bring that Tituss Andromedon flair.

Clearly, by the looks of the Lemonade parody in the Season 3 teaser, Titus' production values have gone up ever so slightly. They're not Beyoncé-level yet, but he's definitely aspiring to it.

Fingers crossed that eventually, an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt soundtrack is released with all these catchy numbers for our streaming, downloading, and listening pleasure.

Hopefully, since the theme and "Peeno Noir" are on Spotify, fans will at least be able to eventually listen to the new song there. I think that's a safe bet, if anything. If all else fails, the episode will be on Netflix for you to watch and obsess over... and over and over.
