If you've been listening to Chance The Rapper's Christmas mixtape from 2016 on repeat this holiday season, then you're going to love the extra gift that he's bestowing on fans this year. Chance and Jeremih are releasing an expanded edition of Merry Christmas Lil' Mama, so that fans can enjoy even more from the album. Titled Merry Christmas Lil' Mama: Re-Wrapped, the 2017 edition of the mixtape boasts nine new songs plus a piano-remix of "Stranger At The Table" that will make you want to deck the halls.

As if that wasn't enough, when Chance announced the expanded mixtape on Instagram, he also revealed that Master Of None writer and actor, Lena Waithe, and Common both contributed drums to it. You know, as if the cameos from comedian Hannibal Buress and rising Chicago rapper, Valee, weren't exciting enough already. Featuring 19 tracks (spread across two digital "discs"), the 2017 unedited edition of the mixtape can currently be streamed for free from Chance's Soundcloud or downloaded for free from his website.

It's worth noting that his 2016 mixtape became an instant holiday classic when it was released, and, from the sounds of this one, we're all going to be enjoying yet another Happy Chancemass in 2017, too.

Full of joy and merriment, the mixtape is a gift for fans of the talented musician. And if this is news has made you pop open some of the Christmas wine early and throw some festive shapes around your home, then you're not alone. Chance's fans are reacting to this as though they've received a hand picked gift direct from Santa Claus himself.

There were some who instantly knew that the expanded release would make for the greatest office Christmas music ever. And like, sorry to Angie in accounting, but everyone should be blasting this throughout every office this year:

There were a number of fans who caught a lot of feelings from the new songs. Which is understandable, because there's also a lot of emotion be found in them. It'll make you feel as though your heart is growing several sizes, just like The Grinch.

When fans weren't getting emotional over the release, they were... well, still kind of getting emotional over it. Because, damn, how do these guys know exactly what we want?

Then there were those who were saying what we were all thinking: that Merry Christmas Lil' Mama is actually for life, not just for Christmas:

For others, the new mixtape has achieved the impossible — it's damn well saved Christmas:

And, honestly, we can all currently agree with this closing sentiment:

At the start of December 2016, shortly prior to the release of the first disc of Merry Christmas Lil' Mama, Chance proved himself as the new king of Christmas when he performed a choir-led rendition of "Sunday Candy," at the White House tree lighting ceremony. As you might remember, Barack, Michelle, and Sasha Obama all looked excited to watch him perform, with the youngest daughter of the family even lip-syncing along with a smile on her face.

Though the country has gone through a lot of great changes since then, it's great to know that Chance has still got our backs and has released the perfect set of songs to raise our spirits after such a difficult year. Give him a sleigh and some reindeer, because he's officially the Santa of hip-hop, and Merry Christmas Lil' Mama is his two-disc set of sleigh bells ringing just for us. And yeah, whether you're an old fan, a new fan, or a casual fan, you're still going to be enjoying the songs long into the new year.
