It's been months since the Kylie Jenner pregnancy rumors first surfaced, and still, fans don't have any answers. And the mystery around these rumors only got bigger during the holidays. After she was missing from the Kardashian Christmas card, fans are wondering if Kylie Jenner already had her baby, but there's no definitive answer to that question, either, of course, since it was never even confirmed she was (or is) pregnant.
If you follow this family as closely as so many people do, you were probably waiting with anticipation for Kim Kardashian to drop the final installment of her 25 days of Christmas photos of her family. Since Jenner was the only woman in the family missing from the photos from the previous 24 days, there was a pretty big theory that final photo would show off Jenner in all her pregnant glory for the very first time, finally confirming what we've all been waiting to hear.
But as soon as the photo was shared and Jenner wasn't in it, Twitter exploded with fans sharing all kinds of feelings on the subject. Some people were just disappointed that the reveal we've all been waiting for still didn't happen, but others were convinced that meant that Jenner has already had her baby and is too busy mom-ing it up to pose for a photo with her sisters.
This theory is all over the place:
This is obviously a pretty widely held theory, but does it hold any salt? Probably not. Even though Jenner herself has yet to comment on the rumors, there's also no reason to believe the baby has already been born. And since there's practically a new report every day on how her pregnancy is going, wouldn't there be someone who would leak the news of her baby's birth, too? It would be nearly impossible for her to give birth in total secret.
Besides, according to the rumor mill — which, unfortunately, seems to be the only way any of us are getting any insight into this pregnancy — she's not even due yet. Back in September, multiple sources close to the cosmetics mogul told People that Jenner and boyfriend Travis Scott are expecting their baby to be born in February, so it would be really surprising if those sources were wrong and she was farther along than anyone thought.
There are a lot of reasons why Jenner might want to hide it if she's pregnant, which could by why she's been staying out of the spotlight so much recently. Maybe it was completely unexpected, maybe she just wants to experience such an exciting time in her life as privately as possible, or maybe she just doesn't want to deal with literally millions of strangers and their opinions on the subject. But not being in the Christmas photo because she already had her baby? Probably not one of those reasons.
As much fun as a good conspiracy theory is, it doesn't seem like that's what's going on here — although honestly, at this point, is anything off the table for the Kardashian-Jenners? The wait for confirmation is agonizing, but it'll end eventually. Maybe. Hopefully? And in the meantime, Jenner deserves her privacy, because if she is becoming a mom, that's a really big deal and she should get to enjoy this time in whatever way she chooses.
For the time being, let's all cross our fingers and pray to Kris Jenner that there will be enough baby photos to make up for the bump photos we are all missing. There is no chance in this world that baby wouldn't be adorable.
