More LMDs Assembled On 'S.H.I.E.L.D.'

We can't say we weren't warned, both by the nature of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and by our fall obsession with Westworld. Now, Coulson, Daisy, Mack, and Mace are LMDs on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — and Phil's robot counterpart reactivated the robot May to boot. Maybe even to knock boots. Sorry, couldn't help myself there. At least Fitz and Simmons know that they have been infiltrated by Aida and Radcliffe. The fate of S.H.I.E.L.D. is now in their hands. Also, am I an LMD too? Hard to tell.

This also means that the four human agents are not trapped in the Framework, Aida's digital realm. Were they all taken away by submarine? Will they be able to interact with one another there, or is every agent in a simulation tailored to them? Knowing Joss Whedon shows, even though the man himself hasn't been involved since the pilot, I'm gonna guess the latter. Showing each of those agents in their own fantasy is an excellent narrative device that's hard for any writer to turn down. At least it will make for an epic escape.

I'm more worried about what's going to happen in the home office with so many Stepford S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents roaming the halls.

According to the official ABC press release for next Tuesday's episode, "suspicion turns to paranoia when the team doesn’t know who can be trusted as more LMDs infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D." The episode is simply titled "Self Control." Does this mean that there are more LMDs in the agency? Five is quite a lot. Aida and Radcliffe's plan just seems to get more and more complicated on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and for maybe the first time, I have no idea where any of this is heading.
