Eyebrow Wigs Are Now A Thing & You Have To See Them In Action
Wigs are nothing new in the beauty work. Celebrities like the Kardashians and Jenners are all over the trend, but now the accessory is going where you've never seen it before — the face. For the latest in bizarre beauty news, eyebrow wigs are now a thing, according to Teen Vogue, and you just have to see them for yourself. This could be the next big thing since false lashes.
If you hate spending time in front of the mirror trying to pluck, fill, and make your brows even, then this is the creation for you. Eyebrow wigs are the latest trend to take over the beauty world. Basically, these are already-formed eyebrows that you stick to your face with eyelash glue. Basically, there are hairs attached to a netting. You apply some lash glue and place them over your real brows, so technically you still have to make sure they match, but you won't have to waste tons of product.
This might seem silly, but Teen Vogue points out that this could be a genius simple, temporary option for people who have lost their hair from chemotherapy treatments who don't want to draw brows on every day or go the more permanent route of microblading.
Honestly, I didn't know what to think when I first saw these. Seeing as Selena Gomez's makeup artist, Hung Vanngo is #sold on the accessory, according to his Instagram, maybe I should be too. The faux brows are being sold online for up to $50 a pair. That's not exactly the most affordable accessory, but it's a small price to pay for saving time in the morning. So far, YouTubers that have tried the trick don't hate it, but people on social media aren't sold yet.
Some are completely confused.
Others are pretty excited.
Then there's the people that will definitely not be trying.
That's a great question.
Bye!
Next big trend or just an attention grabber?
Overall consensus is confusion.
I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see who will be wearing eyebrow wigs next. Who knows, this could just be the next Kylie Cosmetics product!
