Ginger Spice’s Bathroom Brings The Girl Power

Geri “Ginger Spice” Horner: One fifth of the greatest female pop group of all time, part of the greatest Summer Olympics closing ceremony of all time, and owner of the greatest bathroom of all time. On Thursday, the former Spice Girl posted a video on Instagram that just about took my breath away (h/t The Daily Mail). In the clip, she's getting pumped to pump iron while standing in front of, as many of her followers pointed out, the backdrop to end all backdrops: Rather than work out in a gymnasium or a rec room, Horner’s in a bathroom that’s teeming with Spice Girls dolls. It is truly magnificent.

Ginger Spice only shows us a sliver of the commode, but I’m going to go ahead and imagine that the rest of the counter is completely lined with Spice Girls doll boxes. And that the shelves are teeming with more Spice Girls doll boxes. And when you open the vanity drawers? Probably nothing but Spice Girls doll boxes. And as for the medicine cabinet? Bet you can’t guess what’s most likely in there.

Now that I’ve experienced Horner’s Instagram video, I know the following to be true: The number one restroom on the planet is full of Spice Girls dolls. You can have your marble sinks, heated floors, waterfall showers, towel warmers, crystal chandeliers, and gold-plated clawfoot bathtubs. All of those fixtures and features are fine and dandy, but they are not mint condition Spice Girls dolls. Not even close.
