After reportedly suffering cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Friday, Dec. 23, Carrie Fisher is in the intensive care unit, according to Entertainment Tonight. While updates on her condition have been scarce, Fisher's fans, friends, and co-stars have offered an outpouring of support to the star during this difficult time. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison Ford released a statement about Fisher as well, and it is good to know his thoughts are with his Star Wars co-star and her family. On Saturday morning, Ford reportedly told THR,

"I'm shocked and saddened to hear the news about my dear friend. Our thoughts are with Carrie, her family and friends."

Ford joins several other members of Fisher's Star Wars family in wishing her well. Mark Hamill, Gwendoline Christie, Dave Prowse, and Peter Mayhew have all tweeted messages of support. They join a chorus of voices on social media all sending love and best wishes to Fisher.

The actor's brother Todd issued a statement of his own to Entertainment Tonight on Friday, updating the world on Fisher's condition. "She is in the intensive care unit, she is being well looked after. If everyone could just pray for her that would be good. The doctors are doing their thing and we don't want to bug them. We are waiting by patiently," he said of his sister's condition at the time.

Todd also urged fans not to speculate about Fisher's condition at this time. Based on the last update, she is still in the ICU, and her daughter, Billie Lourd, and beloved dog Gary, are reportedly by her side. Much is still unclear about what caused her medical emergency and how she's doing, so the best thing everyone can do for Fisher and her family is to be positive and respect her privacy.

As a recap, Fisher was rushed to UCLA Medical Center after the plane landed in LAX on Friday. The Hollywood Reporter reports paramedics were standing by to provide life support and aggressively treat Fisher, according to a statement from fire department spokesman Erik Scott. Recordings from the airline support reports that passengers with medical training assisted Fisher during the flight. Bustle reached out to Fisher's rep when the news first broke, but has not heard back at this time.

Fisher was reportedly in London filming Season 3 of Amazon's Catastrophe and promoting her book The Princess Diarist. With so much unknown at this time, fans should focus on sending love and positive vibes Fisher's way for a fast recovery.
