How Can You Stream 'More Life'? Drake’s Apple Music Launch Is A Little Confusing — UPDATE
For those of you frantically trying to figure out how to stream the release of Drake's new playlist, More Life, worry not. I have all of the answers you seek. The release has been a bit confusing, so any clarity on the situation is good. Starting at 6:15 p.m. EST on Saturday, March 18, you can stream More Life on OVO Sound Radio on Apple Music. Luckily, you won't need to have a subscription to Apple Music in order to access OVO Sound Radio — Drake's radio station — but accessing it has proven a bit tricky. Goodness knows I was frantically scrolling through Apple Music trying to find the right spot. So, take a deep breath and let's get OVO Sound up and running for you to stream (and then promptly freak out over) More Life.
Update: During his OVO Sound Radio show, Drake's More Life playlist became available to stream on Spotify.
Earlier: The first thing you want to do when you open iTunes is to stay in the "Music" section of iTunes, and then, at the top of the iTunes window, click on "Radio." It will be sandwiched between "Browse" and "Store." When you click "Radio," you'll see a "Featured" section and to the right of that there will be a "Beat 1" section. Right now, at the time of reporting, on both the "Featured" and "Beats 1" sections, OVO Sound is available for you to click. You should see something that looks like this in your iTunes window.
If you hover your pointer over the bottom right corner of this picture, then you'll be able to hit "Play" on the channel. The show is currently on delay, because it is being reported that the "finishing touches" are still being put on the episode.
The excitement is building. The curiosity is growing. What will More Life sound like? Will Drake appear to give some commentary? Luckily, if you're able to find OVO Sound Radio, then you've already solved a huge mystery around streaming More Life.
