Odds are that you've already heard the big news about the Huda Beauty Lip Strobes. Founder Huda Kattan has been teasing the brand new, shimmery lip products for weeks now, but she's finally showing them in action. The first swatches of Huda Beauty's Lip Strobes might catch you by surprise though. It turns out that this isn't your average liquid lipstick, and you won't believe how versatile it is until you see it for yourself.
The highlighter trend is one that seems like it will never fade. Although the brand already tackled the cheeks with their highlighter palette, they created a highlighter for your lips too. According to Huda Beauty Instagram post, there will be twelve shades of the Lip Strobe, which will all be available sometime in June. The brand loves to tease their fans with the details, but these swatches speak for themselves.
Kattan posted videos of her applying a few of the shades behind the scenes at a photo shoot. She starts by applying Silver Fox Liquid Lipstick and then tops it with a Lip Strobe in the shade Enchanting. It's a gorgeous metallic white color that transforms her lips to look almost holographic. It's clear to see just from one swatch that this packs some serious shine.
Her lips look almost ombre with the topper on it, which is incredible to say the least. But that's not the only way you can use the liquid products. According to Kattan's Instagram story, you can use the shimmery shades as eyeshadow as well. This is one mini-tutorial that you have to see to believe.
She also shows how she blends the Lip Strobes onto the lid as well. Using a regular makeup brush, Kattan creates the most stunning glittery cut crease. Of course, there are no rules when it comes to makeup. I can only hope that she keeps showing how versatile the Lip Strobes are as the launch day gets closer.
According to her Instagram post, there isn't much longer to wait until the lip products launch. Like I said before, she had hinted that it would be sometime in June. Hopefully, this means that they'll be arriving sooner rather than later.
Considering that Kattan is already doing a photoshoot with the products, there can't be much longer to wait. Until then, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that there are even more mini-tutorials to come!
