Is Millie Bobby Brown's Long Hair Real? The 'Stranger Things' Star Looks Totally Different

You know her as Eleven on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, which automatically conjures images of frilly white socks, pink dresses, Eggo waffles, and, most importantly, a cropped buzz cut. But the young star surprised fans at the Stranger Things premiere on Oct. 26 with a new look. Millie Bobby Brown has long hair now. We're not talking about a sassy bob that hits around the ears, either. Her hair hits well passed her shoulders, entering lob territory, and leaving the sheared head days behind.

Showing up for the season two premiere of the hit show in Los Angeles, Brown walked the red carpet showing off sleek, straight hair parted straight down the middle. Seeing how she usually throws her hair back into a shiny bun or minimalist up-do, it's not often that fans are treated to her locks, making us unaware just how much it has grown. Now that it was down for the occasion, we're able to notice the blunt cut, accentuated with cheekbone grazing layers that mimic grown out bangs.

It also appears that she made a subtle change to her color, as well. Millie's color is glossy, dark, and perfect for the colder months.

Brown complimented her sleek hairstyle with an edgy, long-sleeved leather dress, styled with a pair of white, pointy toed kitten heels. Keeping in theme with the black and white motif, Brown accented her eyes with a silver eyeshadow and a nude lip. So mod, so fresh, so fun.

To see just how much her hair has transformed throughout the year, ahead is a trip down memory lane with Brown's best red carpet looks.

1. 2016 Premiere

Walking the Stranger Things premiere red carpet in 2016, Brown's hair is a cute and curly pixie cut, pulled back by an adorned headband. Her chop is so short that she can't tuck it back behind her ears, showing you just how much it grew out in two years.

2. 2016 Emmys

For the 2016 Emmys, Brown rolled up with her fellow cast members rocking a slicked back pixie that was slowly making its way into an ear-grazing bob.

3. 2016 UNICEF Anniversary Event

When she arrived at the UNICEF 70 Anniversary Event, her wavy hair was pinned back into a curled-in bob, rocking a deep side part and tucked-in ends. For those that have had a pixie before, they will recognize this stage as officially being past the "awkward grow out phase," though it seems like Brown didn't have any of those awkward hair moments at all! She breezed through them like a champ.

4. 2017 Emmys

Raked back and twisted into a low ballerina bun, this is one of Brown's favorite go-to red carpet looks.

5. 2017 MTV Music Awards

Here is clear evidence of Brown's shoulder length hair, just in her signature up-do. You can see her fringe like layers tucked in behind her ears, and the length of her locks twisted into a minimalist bun, and accented with gold and pearl flowers.

Whether she rocks a shaved head or sweeping middle-parts, Brown looks amazing in whatever cut she chooses.
