If there's one thing The Bachelor thrives at, it's grooming its participants for over-the-top romantic gestures. This even applies to controversial Bachelor alum Juan Pablo Galavis, who married Osmariel Villalobos on Sunday, as reported by Us Weekly. And he's having yet another ceremony with his bride soon. The 36-year-old notoriously made headlines when he didn't propose to Nikki Ferrell at the end of his run as the Bachelor in 2014. Refusing to propose is basically unorthodox in Bachelor world. But he's finally met his match, and it looks like he wants the world to know it.

According to Us Weekly, Galavis and Villalobos had an intimate ceremony in Miami over the weekend, for close family and friends only. The two have been praising each other all over social media, and actually look like they're super in love. They're reportedly planning on making the news even more official with another upcoming ceremony in Venezuela, where the 29-year-old model and former beauty pageant contestant is from.

It's been quite a whirlwind for Galavis regarding his public romantic past, and a ton of Bachelor fans are probably left thinking, "Damn." Of all the former Bachelor stars still out there looking for love, Galavis is probably the last one fans would expect to settle down so soon.

In Galavis' last post dedicated to his wife, he wrote, "THANKS for being what I NEEDED" (emphasis his). Possibly a little shady to Ferrell (with whom he called it quits with in 2015) or any other exes, but sentimental nonetheless. Not that it should matter to Ferrell, though. She got married to her boyfriend, Tyler Vanloo, last October.

Nevertheless, in the world of The Bachelor, there will always be drama, surprises, and plenty of ceremonies.
