Taylor Swift has gone platinum and we're not just talking about her record sales, several times over. She crushed a white hot chop on her 2016 Vogue cover. Fast-forward a year and her supermodel bestie Karlie Kloss is now rocking platinum blonde hair, too.
Remember, Swift and Kloss shared a Vogue cover. Now they share a hair hue, albeit at different times and places in their fabulous lives.
Kloss with platinum blonde strands is not as jarring as you might think. Of course, Kloss is preternaturally stunning, with the most amazing bone structure. I saw her strutting down Park Avenue in NYC while on her cell phone this past spring and she was even more jaw-dropping live and in person. Her usually honey blonde locks are bright, icy, and the shade works for her. It's very Marilyn Monroe-like in its glam.
I think T. Swizzle would totally be proud of potentially inspiring Kloss to go white blonde. Then again, Kloss could have done so while on a shoot for a modeling gig or a magazine spread. Or she could be experimenting with her personal style and playing with a new take on blonde.
She shared an Insta photo of her new 'do hue while in Paris. Go ahead and have a look at Karlie Kloss with her platinum follicles.
The hair and the stare — both are beautiful.
Perhaps this is the inspo?
Platinum blonde hair, don't care! I love the deep side part and the scarlet lips, the latter of which is also a Swift signature. Kloss differentiated her platinum locks by going sans bangs and with longer length.
This Karlie Kloss' take on punk rock hair and she is owning it.
I also love how Kloss contrasted the super blonde hair, which has an '80s vibe, with darker brows. She did the same with her mustard yellow, pleated frock and her chunky black boots. Kloss is a total exercise in style opposites and she pulled it off seamlessly.
