The Kardashians Are Finally Commenting On Rob & Chyna’s Legal Battle
There are some situations that the Kardashians have stayed mum about (Kylie Jenner's reported pregnancy, anyone?). But now, Khloé and Kim Kardashian are opening up about Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a topic which the family hasn't touched upon until now. And Rob's sisters have a lot to say about the situation.
In a clip from Sunday's upcoming episode, Kim tells her sister that she "went off" on Rob in the family's group text. It's unclear what specifically caused the famous sister's wrath, but it's possible that she was angered by her brother sharing explicit photos of Chyna on social media in July 2017. Kim goes on to say, "With Rob having sisters, he should just know better. He should have just, like, controlled himself." Can't exactly argue with Kim there.
Khloé tries to look at the glass half full when it comes to the whole situation. She tells Kim, "One of the pluses of all this: There's no way that Rob and Chyna could get back together after this, right?" She then says, "The negative is all this other sh*t right now."
The Revenge Body host then defends her brother. She says, "It just sucks. He’s made out to [be] this bad guy when she's [Chyna] taunting him. Love makes you do f*cked up things." As this was just a preview clip, viewers will gain even more insight into the sisters' thoughts — and what exactly they were talking about — when the episode airs in full on Jan. 14.
In case you did miss the latest drama in Rob and Chyna's endless cycle, the two broke things off (seemingly for good) sometime before July 2017, which was when Rob claimed that Chyna cheated on him as he posted naked photos of her on Instagram. Chyna then alleged on Snapchat that her former partner had abused her. She claimed, "Rob u did all this but u beat me up and try act it never happen !!!!! U put hand on me I swear on god !!!!! On my kids but I'm supposed to be quiet because you're a Kardashian."
In response to this situation, Chyna's lawyer told ABC News in July, "We are considering all legal options and recourses at this time." And Rob's lawyer told TMZ that his actions with the photos were a "spontaneous reaction that he regrets." Rob's lawyer also did not contest Chyna's request for a restraining order.
Shortly after this issue and their respective statements, Chyna sought out a temporary restraining order against Rob, which was granted, as CNN states. In addition, the pair settled their custody agreement for daughter Dream in September 2017, and agreed to joint custody. When the former couple reached their agreement, Chyna also agreed to drop a domestic violence hearing.
While the drama between Rob and Chyna was seemingly sorted out (at least, in terms of parenting their child), that's not the case with another legal issue between Rob's ex-fiancée and his family. Currently, Rob, Kim, and their mother Kris Jenner are involved in a case with Chyna over the end of the former couple's TV series Rob & Chyna, as TMZ reports.
Just like how Khloé and Kim shared their thoughts on Rob and Chyna, it's entirely possible that viewers will get to see what the family thinks about this issue as well on KUWTK.
