No surprise here: This Is Us took home the Tearjerker award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday night. NBC's hit won for the karate scene starring Milo Ventimiglia and Lonnie Chavis (aka Little Randall), and both actors were on hand to accept the Golden Popcorn. Normally, all eyes would be on Ventimiglia, but the actor behind Little Randall stole the show, and I'm totally OK with that.

Surprisingly enough, this was the only moment from This Is Us that was nominated in the Tearjerker category. The show, known for giving fans all of the feels (literally), the touching moment between Jack and and his adopted son Randall went pretty viral after it aired, and is one of the more memorable moments of the season. Still, given all the heartbreaking scenes on the show, Ventimiglia couldn't help but open his speech with a joke.

"We are sorry that we made you cry," he said upon accepting the golden popcorn. The actor then took his apology back, saying he was glad the show actually made audiences feel. And then, he turned the mic over to Chavis and the cuteness began. Chavis was, at first, unable to reach the mic, which caused Jacob Tremblay-level adorableness, and then he doubled down on cuteness in his speech. "Thank you everybody," he said excitedly.

"I want to thank God first, I want to thank my family. I want to thank my fans, all of you for voting This Is Us," Chavis continued. The little This Is Us star then gave a special shout out to the writers. Oh, and did I mention that he had to hand over the golden popcorn to his co-star because it was too heavy? It was pretty cute.
