If you’re a fan of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, you might have chance to interact with them beyond tweeting the Prince and stalking Instagram pages dedicated to the couple. According to LinkedIn, the Royal Household is looking for a communications assistant, and you can apply right now.

Whoever is chosen for the position will be working for the the Royal Household for one year. During that year, the assistant can expect to write press releases, manage social media pages, and provide support for Palace engagements. If you’re familiar with creating content and up to take on new challenges, this may be the perfect gig for you.

According to the job description, the position is located in Buckingham Palace, but the communications assistant will travel in the UK and overseas to offer communications support for important engagements. This sounds like a really great opportunity for the right person. The Royal Household notes “the reaction to our work is always high-profile, and so reputation and impact will be at the forefront of all that you do.”

The job description emphasizes “the work, role, relevance and value of the Royal Family to a worldwide audience.” And I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but there’s a certain Royal wedding taking place in May that will have a worldwide audience. Perhaps the new communications assistant will be responsible for public relations surrounding Prince Harry’s and Meghan Markle’s union.
