Joining the ranks of recent expecting moms in Hollywood, Nikki Reed is pregnant. The Twilight vet and her husband, Ian Somerhalder, shared the news via Instagram on Thursday, both posting the same sweet photo of Reed cradling her growing baby bump while Somerhalder kneels to kiss her stomach.
And if that alone didn't pull on your heart strings, they also captioned the picture with equally touching notes. Somerhalder wrote that he had "never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful" and couldn't think of "anything more exciting than this next chapter," while Reed spoke directly to her baby. She wrote,
"Hi Little One. I know you, but only because I feel you. How is it possible to love someone so much already? All I know for sure is it's the strongest feeling I've ever felt. We've been sharing this body for quite some time, and we've already experienced so much together. We can't wait to meet you."
This will mark Reed and Somerhalder's first child together. They were married in 2015, and celebrated their second wedding anniversary just last week. It's clear both actors have a way with words, as their anniversary posts were just as beautiful and sappy. It seems they love each other deeply — their Instagrams are filled with romantic messages about one another — and are thrilled to welcome the newest addition of their family.
