Which Adult Stars Believe In Ghosts?

by Kristen Sollee

Do you believe in poltergeists, demons, and things that go bump in the night? Despite the fact that science says the supernatural is a figment of our imaginations, countless people believe in ghosts. And in a new WoodRocket video, porn stars are in the hot seat, answering questions about their paranormal views.

Sex and the supernatural go together like peanut butter and jelly. Both subjects have been studied extensively by researchers, and yet there is still so much mystery that accompanies our experiences of these phenomena. A steamy romp might invoke chills and the feeling of flying or leaving your body for another dimension, just as a supposed encounter with an otherworldly spirit might inspire similar (albeit a bit more frightening) sensations.

Filmmakers are notoriously aware of this perfect pairing, as so many supernatural films have a very sensual side. (Hello, Ghost, Dracula, Hellraiser, etc.) The porn industry in particular has gotten in on the spooky/sexy tip over the years, putting out parodies like Burning Angel's The XXXorcist, Evil Head and The Shaft (Yep that's a parody of The Craft and it's funny AF.) So do porn stars actually believe in ghosts? Here are five answers they gave when pressed to explain paranormal activity:

1Yes, And I've Interacted With One

Leya Falcon definitely believes in ghosts because she's encountered one —and it's not just any old spirit either. Falcon swears Tupac Shakur haunts her and has been messing with her electronics for years.

2Yes, Because I Am One

When asked, Charlotte Sartre doesn't hesitate to confirm the existence of ghosts. And how does she know they exist? "'Cause I am one," she deadpans.

3Sometimes, After Watching Horror Movies

"It depends which kind of movie I watch," says Mick Blue. "Sometimes when the movie is scary and you see all this spooky stuff going on then I believe in ghosts." But the rest of the time? Not so much.

4Ghosts, Magic, And God Don't Exist

Riley Reyes is an adamant non-believer in "ghosts, magic, fate, or God."

5No, It's Ridiculous

Cherie DeVille scoffs at the idea that anyone would believe in ghosts — or unicorns and leprechauns for that matter.

But regardless of whether you think the supernatural is fantasy or a reality, there's no question how much of a hold it has on the human psyche.
