If you're having a bad day, need a good laugh, or just straight up enjoy seeing people who are usually serious loosen up a bit, boy, do I have the video for you. Just in case you were under the impression that the royal family doesn't know how to get down in the club, you're about to be proven wrong. Video footage of Prince William dancing has surfaced thanks to TMZ, and it's possibly the best thing to come out of 2017 so far.

According to TMZ, the video comes from a ski trip William took with his friends to Switzerland. Apparently, the rhythm just got into his blood and couldn't be stopped, because sure enough, there he is in the background of the club, busting a move. In fact, at one point, he even raises the roof, which I didn't even know he knew how to do. Reportedly, it was taken around 10:30 p.m., which is also later than I expected Wills to stay up at night, so I'm learning a lot about him from this one incident already.

There is no way I (or anyone else) could possibly describe this video to you and do it justice, so you're just going to have to watch it yourself.

I do believe the kids call that "getting turnt." And now, we exist in a world where Prince William may actually understand what "turnt" means, because he is out there living it.

Honestly, his dancing isn't all that bad (especially for a dad, since dads are notoriously embarrassing creatures). I think the entertainment value here lies more in the fact that this is Prince William we're talking about, and never in a million years did I imagine I would actually see him raise the roof with my own eyes. Anytime I am sad in the future, I will turn to this video and remind myself that there are things that are pure and good in this world.

And in all seriousness, it's good to see that he get to have fun with his friends like anyone else — despite the fact that he's got a pretty stressful job, is going to be king one day, and has two kids at home. Even royalty needs a way to de-stress sometime!
