The 2017 Golden Globes Full Winners List

by Lia Beck
FX

Award season is here, and with it comes the first batch of winners (and losers — sorry!). The 2017 Golden Globes winners were announced on Sunday, Jan. 8 live from the Beverly Hilton. Unlike some award shows, the Golden Globes tend to be full of more surprises. And more newcomers — when it comes to both actors and TV series — are favored as compared to other ceremonies. So, going into the night there were only a couple things that seemed totally certain: many attendees would be taking advantage of the bar (getting tipsy is a Golden Globes tradition) and La La Land would win something (it was nominated in seven categories after all). Oh, also, host Jimmy Fallon was sure to make some Trump jokes.

Whether you didn't catch the ceremony yourself, like to count up how many awards certain shows or movies got as the night goes on, or are reading this from ~the future~ after your significant other challenged you on who won the Golden Globe for Best Picture — Musical or Drama in 2017, you can find the solution to all of your needs in the list below.

Winning titles and names are in bold.
