Just when you thought the unicorn trend couldn't go any further, one woman is proving that it just might be the most universal fad of the year so far. (Your move, mermaids.) Beauty guru Kristen Leanne, founder of the cruelty-free and vegan hair color line Arctic Fox, recruited her husband to demonstrate a unicorn facial hair makeover, turning him into what she calls a — wait for it — manicorn.
The mystical unicorn trend is popping up everywhere from makeup brushes to Instagram-ready Starbucks Frappuccinos, so it was only a matter of time before facial hair became the latest canvas to work with. After all, if unicorn hair dye is a thing, why not beards, right?
Using POP Beauty's Lashy Flashy mascaras in Purple Passion, Blue Bloom, and Tantalizing Teal, Leanne used the spoolie to brush the vibrant colors through her husband's eyebrows, 'stache, and beard. The result? Eye-catching strands that would make Lisa Frank jealous.
Here's how she pulled off the transformation, just in case you've got a partner who might be a good sport, too. (Any volunteers?) And if not, it'd probably be a fun little experiment to try it out on your own brows. POP Beauty's Lashy Flashy mascaras are $16 each on their website, so pick your favorite hue after seeing it in action here — or, just go all in with all three.
Pretty neat, huh? Here are the three products she used to get the look.
